My first craft fair this past weekend is now behind me-and what a great experience I had! I helped man a booth under jewelry designer Erika Lynden who promotes my work in her store Moonstruck Design. www.moonstruck-design.com
Erika and I had an incredible time people watching. It was a wine festival after all, and the entertainment got better and better as the evening progressed. We did fairly well with our sales, especially since it was my first show. It was also the first wine festival at the Chataqua fairgrounds. Hopefully this will become an annual event. The turnout was incredible.
I also had a sale which thrilled me. A woman, who appreciates handmade jewelry very much bought my jiggly wart ring, and seemed to be so amused by it. She also ordered another one, along with a matching pendant. It is such a heartwarming feeling to have someone purchase a piece that you love-and know it is really going to be enjoyed. I am so happy it went to a good home!
I look forward to my next show, and have some hilarious stories to take with me.
